The Course
Hanging Rock Golf Club features one of the most beautiful and challenging layouts in the Roanoke Valley.
No. 5, the signature hole, is a 392-yard par 4 with two greens. The lower green (photo at right) is over water while the upper green is all up hill. Decide which green you want to play when you reach the 5th tee.

- Proper dress required.
- Players play at their own risk.
- USGA Rules govern all play except as modified below.
- Out of bounds defined by white stakes. Rule 27.
- Water hazards defined by yellow stakes. Rule 26.
- Lateral hazards defined by red stakes. Rule 26.
- Free drop away from all split rail fencing. Rule 24.2.
- 90 degree cart rule is mandatory for all carts when not restricted to path. Keep carts on path neal all tees and greens.
- Play from black tees only with permission of the golf pro.
- No beverages or coolers may be brought onto the course unless purchased through the clubhouse.
- USGA Pace of Play - Please cooperate with the golf staff in maintaining a pace of 4 1/2 hours. You must keep up with the group ahead.
