Custom Club Fitting

One thing is certain - to play golf one must have clubs. To play golf to your potential, however, one must have clubs that fit their swing. It is a fact that at least 90% of all golfers are using equipment that does not enhance their ability to play well for many varying reasons. 

 

Teaching is arguably the professional's most important qualification. For the professional to teach you to play at your potential it is essential that your clubs fit your swing.  If a set of clubs does not fit your swing then compensatory actions must take place in the motion to cause the ball to travel in the right direction. Proper club fitting allows the player to make a swing without compensations and this swing is easier to teach, learn, and use under pressure on the course.

 

Golfers are different in size, strength, age, flexibility, and produce widely varying club head speeds among other factors that all are important to determine the ideal club specifications for the individual. Buying clubs off the rack without the benefit of a dynamic (in-motion) club fitting session is FOOLISH.  Also, please note that a fitting by "hitting into a net" without the benefit of watching the ball flight is unreliable and less effective.
