Heading up the 2010 Instructional Program is PGA Director of Golf at Hanging Rock, Chip Sullivan. Chip came back to Hanging Rock in the fall of 2009. From 1993-96 Chip was the PGA Teaching Professional at Hanging Rock. He has had the privilege of teaching students of all ages for the past 24 years. During this time, Chip has been the guest speaker at various schools and organizations including the Middle Atlantic PGA and the VSGA. In addition, Chip has written several golf articles in various publications and has had an instructional radio spot in the valley called, "Chip's Tips".
It is Chip's belief that to be a well rounded golf professional you should not only possess exceptional business skills and ability and desire to serve others but also be an accomplished player in your own right. Chip has been a member of the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and the South African Tour and has racked up over 80 wins in 40 states and 9 countries. Through his accomplishments and golf knowledge, Chip hopes to motivate each person so they take full advantage of their own golfing capabilities and find pleasure in golf, too.
